  Workshop Technology

 

The programme is designed to introduce each student to Technology in a productive and rewarding way. Students will design and make projects that they choose, integrating materials and components to achieve desired results. They are encouraged to find practical solutions. They work on projects that are real to them and that, once completed, will reflect individual imagination and personality. In the process, the students will learn some useful technical skills.

The Workshop Technology Programme is designed to include most aspects of the Key Competencies.  Students are encouraged to follow design practices for their projects, and keep a strong record of their progression in a portfolio.  This portfolio, together with technological learning outcomes, form the basis for end of year reports.
